Good article!

KING KWAME is still a 16 year old boy in a 37 year old body. He really needs to GET REAL and act as a responsible adult. He know that he's a mayor of Detroit and ambassador to between Detroit's super large black ghetto community and the white man's world. However he's still has about two more years to go before he's in or out. His last political campaign for second term for mayor was almost finished when Hendrix ( like the Hare) was in the commanding lead in the polls and primary. Let's hope he that KING KWAME grows up just in time for the next mayor election in 2009.

Pretty much sums up his tenure as mayor. An excellent point is the stat on the city's illiteracy rate. I believe this generation is beyond hope and only in the next 20 or so years will the city actually resemble a decent place if people become better educated-a tall order considering the city's schools. Kwame probably loves having those ignorant citizens-they're the ones that follow like sheep. All he has to do in any election is brand his opponent as the suburban AKA "the white man's " candidate and bingo he's re-elected because the ignorant & haters will follow that logic to the end.

I feel that KK has squandered an opportunity of a lifetime.
