I'd rather be included in Entertainment...I'm 'trying' to get Audio/Video to that status after more than fifteen years of a very unstable technological marriage through a new on-line magazine called AudioVideo INsanity...launching December, if things go right!

I work in a box office (also at the Gem Theatre), local actor, bartender/barback. I've had MANY more odd jobs but those are the ones I hold now. Mostly entertainment/service industry stuff.

I'm surprised at the lack of medical industry. But maybe those people are at work and can't play on the forum right now.

At the moment, I'm a contract project manager at GM.

FYI, recent recruiter contacts have been for a Business Analyst spot at Ford (contract), Instructional Designer at a healthcare provider (direct hire), and Business Analyst at Delphi (contract).

I had an elephant ear at the Gibraltar Trade Center when I got my Snoop Dog vs Van Halen Tattoo. I spent the next day sitting on the toilet!

I am employed by the government. The last year has been one of the toughest ones I've faced in terms of work load. Still, I feel lucky to have the job I have as my brother's car dealerships are doing so poorly and my sister (who works in banking) gets laid off every other year.

Yeah JL, the DMC is the second largest employer in Detroit, with Henry Ford not far behind. Those people are too busy though. My parents are in that industry and do not have time to browse Dyes or much else for that matter.

I'm still a student, meanwhile.

Automotive. Until recently, I was a Project Manager for a supplier. Shrinking domestic auto sales and rising raw material prices forced the company I worked for to close their doors about two months ago. I am in my 40's and collected my first unemployment check two weeks ago. Currently interviewing/searching for a new job. I have to admit, I saw it coming, stashed away extra money and am enjoying the time off. I've never had more than one week in a row off work at one time. I'm de-pressurizing and it feels good!
