I'm not surprised. It is a mansion after all. Only rich people can afford to live in a mansion. This home was on a recent Boston-Edison Holiday Home Tour - and it is magnificent! The owners also had it decorated for the Holiday - it was definitely one of the most nicely restored and decorated homes I have had the pleasure of seeing. There are a number of such mansions in Boston-Edison. |

Welcome to Detroit. A studio apartment in Manhattan costs as much as that mansion. You couldn't even rebuild that house from scratch for $1M. My bet is that what will start happening next is people will try to buy these houses and move them... |
