is any of this material being salvaged? It seems like much of it could be used to construct the new buildings. It's all fairly new material. |

The sad thing is...i liked that part of FW. Thought it was kinda neat...to my knowledge, it was never occupied. Like most of FW! "You maniacs! You blew it up!" |

FW should try to woo stores like Steve and Barry's and FYE. People know those brands and will go out and look for them. Another problem for FW is that there is no real entrance to it. You have to pass through West Oaks or know how to navigate to it from 12 Mile Road. You can see FW from 96 but if you don't know your way around West Oaks/Novi Road/12 Mile, you'll never find it. |

Beadgrl--'tis the theme of suburban shopping sprawls--can see it from the freeway, but includes shopping center after shopping center with people driving aimlessly in cars winding through parking lots without easy practical access and normal street frontage... |

However, I'm sure these will be gone by the end of the week. Detroit ruins take a little longer to get cleaned up. |

Well, Old Navy is already at Novi Town Center. How about a Barnes and Noble? Borders is at NTC. |
