Aiw, you may be aware that Queen's University at Kingston retrofitted the old Victoria School into the campus Business School. The University provides the following details on its website: http://business.queensu.ca/about_us/goodes_hall.php. Where is the Windsor school located (the campus could really use a new law school building...)? |

The school is a block from the bridge. It is across from the new bookstore (on Wyandotte St) right next to the main campus. I don't understand why these are not made into condos or student housing? Better yet why not retrofit it for the dramatic arts program? Then again this city has shit smeared across their eyes for vision. |

Goat, ironically it's used for storage for the dramatic arts program. |

I had the opportunity to watch the construction of the new Queen's business building when I was there a few years back. They took an old worn down school building and turned it into an amazing business school complex. I don't see why U of Windsor could not do something similar. I mean, the campus could use a few extra buildings with character. |

Up in USA, we are told Canada has the greatest budgets and vision for public projects in the world. Education, science, technology, arts, you name it, eh. What's the real story here? These buildings look more like your cousins across the Detroit River. jjaba on the tunnel bus with the lumpin proletariat. |

I can see this building being torn down in the next few years to make room for parking (hopefully a garage and not another surface lot). The new Engineering building will take up a huge surface lot at California and Wyandotte so more parking will be in demand. |

Old schools are amazingly adaptable space, although usually filled to the brim with asbestos. I mean hell, it's a school, built as a school, OWNED by a school. Offices anyone? Colleges always want more offices. |
