I decided to put this thread here because he is from Detroit.
Anyone watch Shooting Sizemore on VH1? The guy obviously has a great amount of talent but damn, he's wasting away. He graduated from Wayne State and later earned a masters at Temple. He actually mentioned Wayne State in the show and how he gained confidence in his acting ability there.
I have never really been able to find out much about him. Where did he grow up here? Any Sizemore stories to tell?

Yes, Tom Sizemore has done some terrific work, but mostly he's been a disappointment!!
My younger brother recalls him during their high school days at Bishop Gallagher HS (Tom went there only for senior year, I think) and how he would talk about going to New York to go to acting school. That was his dream, and he did follow through on that goal.

Interesting stuff here on Tom Sizemore. I believe his on-the-edge lifestyle has taken a bite out of his career. Seems like he is finally heading in the right direction. I hope the best for him.

Sizemore's dad Tom is a very talented corporate lawyer still practicing in the Detroit area. A great guy.

I heard we worked briefly on the Bob-Lo boat.
I don't remember him as "crew" but a lot of "college kids" worked the concessions though.
He certainly has that Detroit "presence". He's the bellowing big-lug everyman who drops his beer on ya' at Tiger stadium.

I also went to HS with him. He's a good guy----I hope he can tame his demons.
I have to admit, though, the show is really hard to watch. The whole situation is very sad.

He's gotta get away from that tainted Heidi Fleiss poon-tang.
