I decided to put this thread here because he is from Detroit. Anyone watch Shooting Sizemore on VH1? The guy obviously has a great amount of talent but damn, he's wasting away. He graduated from Wayne State and later earned a masters at Temple. He actually mentioned Wayne State in the show and how he gained confidence in his acting ability there. I have never really been able to find out much about him. Where did he grow up here? Any Sizemore stories to tell? |

Yes, Tom Sizemore has done some terrific work, but mostly he's been a disappointment!! My younger brother recalls him during their high school days at Bishop Gallagher HS (Tom went there only for senior year, I think) and how he would talk about going to New York to go to acting school. That was his dream, and he did follow through on that goal. |

Interesting stuff here on Tom Sizemore. I believe his on-the-edge lifestyle has taken a bite out of his career. Seems like he is finally heading in the right direction. I hope the best for him. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm000 1744/ http://www.nndb.com/people/063 /000022994/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T om_Sizemore |

Sizemore's dad Tom is a very talented corporate lawyer still practicing in the Detroit area. A great guy. |

I heard we worked briefly on the Bob-Lo boat. I don't remember him as "crew" but a lot of "college kids" worked the concessions though. He certainly has that Detroit "presence". He's the bellowing big-lug everyman who drops his beer on ya' at Tiger stadium. |

I also went to HS with him. He's a good guy----I hope he can tame his demons. I have to admit, though, the show is really hard to watch. The whole situation is very sad. |
