Both Struble and Sherry are from the DIYC (Detroit Ice Yacht Club). I believe both have won the worlds before.

The DN is the world standard for ice boating. DN stands for Detroit News which held a design contest about 80 or 100 years ago to see who could come up with the best ice boat design.

"Matt Struble, USA claimed the World Championship with a dominating performance in the final race of the series. The remainder of the top five included, 2nd: T. Lindgren from Sweden, 3rd: B. Zeiger from Germany, 4th: Ron Sherry, USA and 5th: John Dennis, USA."
