"Sheraton, I believe"

Lmichigan is right. I'm ashamed at you DYer's, don't even know the full name of an historic hotel. On the other hand, y'all would say Westin Book Cadillac in a second.

However, I will admit, I have fun reading your crazy answers.

The Fort Shelby will be a Double Tree (A member of the Hilton Hotel Family). So yes, Paris Hilton's Father will own two (or three) hotels in Downtown Detroit.

Actually he won't the Detroit hotels are franchises.

Also wasn't the Pontch supposed to have made the switch already? What's the holdup?

I can't believe no one mentioned my favorite, The Alibi, which is on Gratiot out Roseville Way...great name.

Still I believe it's a Sheraton in all seriousness...giving Starwood two "anchors" on Washington Blvd with the Westin Book-Cadillac.

Yorba...a classic Hkytwn. Being in the hotel business myself, the Yorba probably had a lot to do with that. My brother-in-law's family used to run the little cafe in the Yorba back in '69 or so, I remember going there as a kid and it was the most fascinating place I had ever seen. Spooky and just begging for exploration. Being only 10 or so I had no fear. Drove by there in January when I was visiting and just kept on driving.
