I have a Friend that picked up an old stoneware advertising jug at an Estate sale, and He is looking for any Info about it?
have you ever heard of:

He was wondering if it May be wine, grocery or pharmaceutical Co.???

North side of Monroe between Beaubien and St. Antione.

Being in Greektown, one of the few areas of old downtown not plowed under, it looks like the building is still standing.

You folks are unbelievable. I have some old dining room furniture with labels from the Sumner Furniture Company, 1416 Michigan Ave. and 9571 Grand River, Detroit MI. Would have been from the 1920's I think. Any info would be much appreciated.

This was owned by Carl and Julius "Duke" Sumner who was my business partner's great grandfather. This would have been in the late teen's through the 20's. It would be neat to see some photos of the labels.

Yes, It's strange that so many of the larger Buildings from the 20's are in Ruins, yet this little 3 story brick Building from a Lifetime before is still Looking Good !

Thats silly, 10 is the age you get Married down here, Dating is much sooner ! Unless a Shot Gun is involved.
and get this, those same 10 yr olds even use Extra letters when spelling TennesSee,,Kids ?
