You guys are the Greatest at everything from Photo Locations to Who Has lived where and did what ! I have a Friend that picked up an old stoneware advertising jug at an Estate sale, and He is looking for any Info about it? have you ever heard of: Fred K. Myll Co. 169 Monroe Ave Detroit He was wondering if it May be wine, grocery or pharmaceutical Co.??? |

Here is the area in 1887. North side of Monroe between Beaubien and St. Antione.
Being in Greektown, one of the few areas of old downtown not plowed under, it looks like the building is still standing.
It's the building with the red awnings. |

You folks are unbelievable. I have some old dining room furniture with labels from the Sumner Furniture Company, 1416 Michigan Ave. and 9571 Grand River, Detroit MI. Would have been from the 1920's I think. Any info would be much appreciated. |

This was owned by Carl and Julius "Duke" Sumner who was my business partner's great grandfather. This would have been in the late teen's through the 20's. It would be neat to see some photos of the labels. |
