Foreclosures are so high that homes previously low at 70 grand are going for car prices. Not a very glowing article ive read on the front page of MSN webpage. "After selling house after house in the Motor City for less than the $29,000 it costs to buy the average new car, the auctioneer tried a new line: "The lumber in the house is worth more than that!""

There is also a 5 min video about detroit on CNBC. All about local economy. Its by Detroits old newsguy Mike Huckman. Dennis Archer even comments on it.
