Does anyone know the name of the old high school that was located at Mack and East Grand Blvd., and the year it was demolished? Thanks in advance.

The school was the old Eastern High School. Martin Luther King HS was built as a replacement. The old building continued to be used under a different name (John Dancy) and with a different program for several years after Eastern moved out. I'm not sure of the year it was torn down.

Footnote: Eastern High athletes were Indians, and Western High athletes were Cowboys.
