Does anyone remember a prewar walk-up just off Jefferson on Manistique (coming from downtown on Jefferson, and turn right onto Manistique - building on the left)? My dad lived there in the 70's and I remember being fascinated by all the cool "things" in his apartment. There were lots of built-ins and steps to the kitchen. Thinking back, it probably wasn't all that remarkable, but in my adult mind's eye, I can imagine it was probably quite nice in it's day. |
