I have a chromed Statler Hotel bottle opener.
I use it often.
Its really nice.

Without provenance, and especially without any signage or label to state that it was from the Statler, I doubt it's even worth $20.

Heck you can buy the doors now for only $38,000. Then it will take another $38,000 to ship them!
:-)

I do think it would be great to have a nice piece of home, but come on that a bit pricey! Not more than Josephine Fords little weather vein indian for $5.8 million. $38,000 is not bad in comparison I guess!

$38,000 actually seems like a relative value, if the provenance can be confirmed.
